Our mission and vision
Our mission is to inspire, equip, and support young people as they navigate the journey into adulthood to foster resilience, mental well-being, and a strong sense of purpose. We empower youth with the tools, relationships, and opportunities they need to thrive and lead meaningful lives.
Our vision is a Canada where every young person, regardless of background, identity, or circumstance, has access to the support, resources, and community they need to reach their full potential.

About NextUp Canada
The NextUp Foundation for Canadian Youth is a national nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth aged 12 to 29 by providing comprehensive support in mental health, re-entry, education, and career development. Our programs are specifically designed to reach youth from underserved communities, including those facing poverty, trauma, systemic barriers, or social exclusion.
Rooted in the principles of care, collaboration, and resilience, NextUp cultivates safe and inclusive spaces where young people are recognized, supported, and equipped with the skills and confidence to become leaders in their communities.
Through a combination of peer-led initiatives, mentorship, and skill-building programs, we work to break cycles of marginalization, foster personal growth, and open pathways to meaningful opportunities and brighter futures for youth across Canada.
Empowering Youth. Transforming Futures.
